Have you ever wondered where the swifts go in winter, how bats see in the dark or how many legs woodlice have?

Well we often do!  So we are thrilled to announce that you can ask all these questions and more at Wild about Norfolk, one the biggest wildlife and environment fairs in the county, taking place tomorrow at Easton College, Norwich.

This annual wildlife extravaganza, which is part funded by Norfolk Biodiversity Partnership (Thanks NBP!), will be open from 10am until 4pm. We'll be exhibiting at the event alongside many of our friends and partners in around the region including Norfolk Wildlife Trust, Norfolk Biodiversity Partnership, Natural England, The Master Gardener, British Dragonfly Society, Toad Watch, Norfolk Bee Keepers and the Hawk and Owl Trust.

In addition to around 40 nature conservation organisations, a wildlife artist and storytelling there will be face painting, nature walks, talks and of course the chance to question local experts on all matters concerning the wonderful world of nature. With lots to see and do, it will be a perfect Autumnal day out for the whole family!

During the day we're offering you the chance to make apple feeders and fat balls for their garden birds to celebrate our upcoming ‘Feed the Birds Day’ at the end of the month.

And if you're feeling really brave, why don't you become a deadly detective for the day? Take part in the BBC Live ‘n’ deadly: DSI Deadly Scene Investigation and find out who has eaten who.  Find out more and collect your deadly detective booklet from Norfolk Wildlife Trust, solve the crime and return to claim your deadly detective badge and certificate.

And like any good day out, there'll be loads of food and light refreshments available all day.  Yum.

Why not come along and see what we are all about – and, best of all, admission and parking are absolutely free!!
