Hi folks, Happy New Year to you all. The Siskins are increasing in numbers, and spending quite some time on the feeders. They were joined today by a lone Goldfinch, and a single Blackcap. Try as I might, I failed to get the Blackcp in the same photo, but have included a pic of him on the nut feeder. hope you like them.
Have a great day.
Take care all, Stich.

Happy New Year to you Stich. Let's hope it's a good one.
You've made a good start with those Siskins. Cracking little birds.
I've got a female Blackcap visiting but the male I had before Christmas has gone awol. I'm hoping he might return with the weather forecast to turn colder.

Lovely to see you have lots of Sikins, I have got one pair at the moment, the male bird is so colourful a lovely deep green, they are lovely birds.
Also the Blackcap is beautiful, I have got a pair of blackcaps that visit most days, and seem to like eating the sunflower hearts and also black sunflower seeds, and suet!!

Siskins are so pretty, wish I had some visit. Same with Blackcaps. Love the Goldfinch too. I used to get loads of Goldies in my old place but sadly not here, although the wild untamed garden next door sometimes gets some, feeding on the teasels. Such beautiful birds.
