I've really enjoyed that series of photos - made me smile many times. Well done for your perseverance. My two favourites are the youngster looking down and thinking 'blimey long way!' and the one with the youngster stepping gingerly on to the perch. Great stuff.

Really been worth it, at least they have some good weather to come.

Think the nesting has been just right and think thats why its a successful ending.

Best shots I've seen this year, Ray! Thanks so much for sharing the story with us. Love the one where the adults are queueing up to feed them! After all the sad stories about blutits this year, your success is all the sweeter. Hope they still visit you.
