Hi everyone , we have a visitor again 5.30 am tapping on the window ,she seems to do the same every year at the same time ,is anyone else getting any simelar treatment

'Oi Mick, are you up yet? where's me food?' Sometimes birds will attack windows because the reflection they see, to their mind is a rival bird on their territory and must therefore be scared off.

Nope but i have a wife who does that at about the same time
She seems to make a sound kind of like "cup of tea cup of tea"

Put the food out last thing at night lol
My Coaltits are still sitting. Stood ages with camera till arms ached, soon as I put the camera down she came out, but now I know they are still there.

The birds in my garden take it in turns to tap on the window when the food is empty, apart from one ring necked dove who does a kamikazi dive and bounce on the window!

Hi Mick, we have a female Blackbird who will stand on the patio doors cill and look in at us. She is telling us the log needs more raisins. I wil try to get a photo. My wife thinks it's funny.
