lets hope all bee's have a better yr
Lovely photo and well captured.
The bees have certainly been very active during this warm spell. I think they are going to get a bit of a shock when the temperature plummets this weekend.

Great photo. Yes, I love to have my bumbles buzzing round me as I work in the garden. Noticed the news that some of the bee decline is owing to nerve insecticides in crops. Hope something will be done now!

yes me too mozziecat ive seen that too a real shame, here's to the beessssssssssss
You ought to hear the bees on my flowering current (Ribes) having a good time being busy as always.
Even heard a bumblebee first thing in the morning with frost around on the plants quite remarkable little creatures and a lovely picture.
A very old Shropshire Lad.
Rescued one yesterday on my bedroom floor which is on the second floor, put it outside on the heather which they love.
Lot to learn

Had quite a few bees buzzing around the garden this week with the beautiful weather, also a few butterflies around, but unfortunatly the weather is forcast much cooler on Sat onwards.
Lots of magnolia trees in flower also prunus trees they look really beautiful down here in Devon, all the blossom is fabulous : )
