I love watching the birds and other wildlife in my garden, and take a lot of pictures. I would like to share a few of them with you! I have thousands and thousands, and so obviously can't show them all, but here are just a couple of my favourites to get you started. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do! :)
This is my first time here on this forum and so I have no idea how I'm supposed to use it - apologies if I've done anything wrong!
Welcome to the forum AnnaBanana!!
Great photos! We all love to see photos so keep them coming! (Either in your post or directly into the galleries)
Hope you enjoy it here!
Hi AnnaBanana and welcome from me also. What a fantastic set of photos. I look forward to seeing loads more.☺
Thank you Squirrel and MarJus! More photos will follow in the future for sure! :)
Hi Anna
These are beautiful, you are so lucky to get such lovely birds in your garden. Can I ask what type of camera do you use? Mine doesn't have enough zoom to capture the birds well enough.
Hi Anna,
Really lovely photos - welcome to the forum!
Welcome to the RSPB Forum
Love your pictures of your birds.
The Swallows are super - they are my OH's favourite bird
Looking forward to seeing more of them.
Regards
Kathy and Dave

Thank you very much! I am blessed with some lovely birds in and around my garden :)
My camera is a rather old (so old, in fact, that I think it's no longer production) Sony DSC-H1 - it's basically just a point and shoot digital camera with a large zoom capability - that's about as high-tech as I go I'm afraid, I'm certainly no pro'! But it's enabled me to capture some beautiful birds and it's a real old workhorse, I love it really!
And may I say thank you to everybody else for your warm welcomes and kind words!
Here are just a couple more to keep you amused!
A darling baby robin.........
...........And a beautiful bluetit :)
(By the way, it may look as though it's perched atop a frost-sprinkled fir tree but it is in fact my neighbours' discarded Christmas tree, complete with spray-on snow!!)
Lovely photos again. I have a Christmas Tree planted in a tub and all the smaller birds love it for perching on. It's a particular favourite of the dunnocks and chaffinches.
