I've been bemoaning the fact that everyone else seems to have redpolls visiting their gardens except me (and Woodpecker).
Sparrow kindly agreed to send me some of her flock. They took a while to get here - well it is a long way from Lancashire to Berkshire. A pair turned up this morning at first light so pictures are rubbish. At least it proves I've got them. More please Sparrow when you can spare them.
One is playing peekaboo.
Sorry Woody, beat you to it.

Hi TJ
I'm thinking of going on strike.
No more food for the goldfinches until they bring some redpolls with them.
Seriously though TJ, well done you! Great photos, especially those last 2. :-))
Best wishes Chris

I'd got the camera on a tripod by the time I took the last two. The light was so poor that I couldn't hold the camera steady enough by hand.

Wey Hey TJ, that is brilliant news ..... so glad they arrived safely, and it looks like a pair. I'm really pleased for you, and great photos. They've found you (better late than never), so hopefully will hang around for the duration and bring their friends.
Cheers, Linda.

That's not fair!!!!!
I haven't got any Redpolls either and I live a heck of a lot nearer Sparrow than you do TJ!!!
When you get over-run with them can you send some to me, via Woodie? I'll send you some of my Tree Sparrows!!!
Pip :)
Great news TJ. All heart is Sparrow but I'm still waiting for mine to arrive and I sent her a Brambling. Must have got lost in the post. !!
