I have lots of great photos of my garden birds from my current property
We are lucky to have a large House Sparrow colony
Regards
Kathy and Dave
A couple more
They love the hedgehog bowl placed on the garden table
In reply to Peewit:
Those are very good photos of them
(Pardon the Scottish Accent)
Thank you for your kind comments, Zo
In reply to Zo Clark:
I know that many areas of the UK lack House Sparrows though having said that we (myself and my partner) have always had large colonies at each of the areas we have lived in the UK So House Sparrows are sadly on the decline - we need to support them with Sparrows nest boxes, lots of dense hedges and less preening of our garden space. As UK residents, we are too proud of our garden space and far too tidy. We need to think more of our wildlife instead.

Aw your very welcome. If you would be so kind in return Kathy to answer my question would be most helpful as I say I am always on the lookout to add to the garden to flower at this time of the year....I dont know that much about flowers other than my lilies don't flower mid to later summer ...well that's if the slugs don't get them 1st...lol perhaps yours are winter /early spring ones or if its just an old photo that's fine but an answer would be most helpful ;-)
