    Hi Linda, I noticed you asked about the Lily, I wonder if it is some sort of Arum Lily which flower May to June. They would probably suit your climate as quite hardy. The pics above not taken at this time of year as they are not even showing leaves yet in our garden.

    Aww thanks for thanks for that Tony...always need to be hardy for my garden....a few Hardy plants have failed to live up to just that...my 2 large Bay Leaf bushes that I planted last year to block out either neighbour ain't looking in the best of health...even a couple of Hardy bamboo has withered!!!....its costing me a fortune!!! So any help is much appreciated ;-)
    I did wonder about the pics hence why I asked the simple question!
