From my Garden

Hi All,

I thought I would share some of the birds I have had in the garden this past year.

  • You certainly get a good variety of visitors Gooner! If you want to expand your pics so it's easier for us all to see them ....A need to think now lol...left hand box you input 600 and the righthand box 0 and am sure that makes them easier to view...if no somebody else will correct me ;-)
  • Personal preference, but I use 800 and 0, but if it's in portrait I do 0 in the first box, 800 in the 2nd :o)
  • It was really your poor eyes a was thinking about when a wrote it PB lol as a recall you saying something before ;-)

Post edit 600 was just a guess as somehow mines automatically resizes itself.!?!?

  • A nice selection of photos Gooner Al and it looks to me like you're new to the forum, so a warm welcome for (for a change) the sunny and dry West Midlands.

As for photo sizing, 600 in both boxes is a good start, then play around from the sizes from there, but first, you need to post using rich text formatting.

The following is a guide to help you through if you get a little lost.

First, you need to select "Use rich formatting" located at the bottom right of the textbox.

Using the tabs at the top

    1. Select "Insert"
    2. Select "Insert image/video/file"
    3. Where it says "From" select the source, "Web (URL)/File upload/Community search"
    4. If you use "Web (URL)", then all you need to do is insert the link
    5. If you choose "File upload" then upload a file from your device or computer in the normal way by selecting the computer/device drive, folders and file.
      1. NOTE: If you are uploading a photo, you can change the image pixels at this point before the final upload.
    6. If you choose "Community search" using the search tool, search for the relevant posting.
    7. When you've made your selection, select "OK" to post/upload, or if you've selected the wrong file/link etc, then select "Cancel"
    8. To select the next file or link, start the above process again and for subsequent uploads.
  • I'm glad you look after me Linda...I was on my phone and thought I was looking at a tennis ball stuck to the feeder on one of the pics JoyJoyJoy
