Great News
I see that the Sand Martins where around locally to me Monday just past for Easter time
Great to see all the Spring/Summer birds around once more.

It's definitely like summer here! 16 degrees centigrade today!
It's the sunniest and warmest day of the year so far by a long way.
In fact it's better than quite a lot of last summer!
Best wishes Chris

We have had the most glorious day. Blue sky and sunshine. No swallows though.
I visited family in rural Gloucestershire over the Easter holiday and saw my first swallows of the year. It's good to have them back.. Haven't seen any where I live yet.

Hi TJ
Have you been to Lavell's Lake to see if there are any around over there?

Hi Chris
I haven't been out to Lavell's since before Easter. I didn't see any then. I notice from the BerksBirds website that there have been sitings of sand martins over Black Swan Lake and many over Woolhampton GP west of Newbury. It would be good if they nest in the purpose built sand martin "flats". Did you see those?
Tony
