Hi, I have had a wildlife pond for many years but have had to replace the liner several times as it kept being punctured. I finally discovered that it was a badger trying to reach the water when the level was a little low and the liner exposed.
its happened again and I’m wondering if anyone has a good solution- I’ve previously used butyl. Thanks
Sadly not. Happened here as soon as I dug the pond out and filled it! The tear is near the top so I've left as is. Unsightly until grass has grown all over it. If you've got a tidy edge of stones, you might want to convert that to a scruffy edge of turf so it eventually hides the damage.....assuming the tear isn't too far down the liner, depth of pond wise.
