At last the chicks in Box 3 have grown big enough to be "seen" by the side view camera!

Well even the beautiful swan was an ugly duckling at some stage.They always seem to be all mouth at this stage

How cute - but I bet the poor mother is exhausted!
Its fascinating watching them grow, I just can't believe how quickly they do!
She has a very hard working partner, and only 5 chicks (the other three eggs failed to hatch) so she's having a much easier time than the single mum in Box 2! Her partner vanished before she started incubating, but fortunately only three eggs hatched and she's doing very well - with the help of the regular mealworm supply I put out.
