Wildflower seeds

A little while ago, we were in one of the 'pound' shop type of stores there are so many of now, and I spotted some packets of wildflower seeds. The list on the back named Delphinium and Antirhinum, amongst others, none of which were British native!  Of course, all plants are native to somewhere originally, but if we want to grow British natives, I think it's best to get from a reliable source.

  • As mentioned on a previous thread I'm sowing wild flower seeds this year that are native to Somerset where I live.

I source my seeds from Emorsgate Seeds and have found them to be very reliable. The main reason for this choice is that you can click into the details for each wild flower listed and it will tell you what county it is native to....

If you follow this link and click into each flower type you can find what is native to you area!!.....

If anyone else has a go it would be interesting to see the results??....
