Yesterday 15th November was a lovely blue sky day,the sun was even shining, so i took these photos of the flowers that are still in my garden.Usually by now i would have put my garden to bed for the winter.
I was surprised to see my Ceanothus shrub in flower.
Lavender and Begonias still in flower
Fuchsia
Hydrangea
But all the leaves have fallen of my Rhus (Sumach) to be expected in Autumn
We have had such mild weather here in Somerset, it will be a shock when the first frosts arrive!

Hi Littleowl.
Isn't it wonderful still having a garden in bloom well into November, all that lovely colour to hang onto.
Viv.
I still have my summer hanging baskets and boxes out, petunias, lobelia, osteospermums etc. They have been in flower since late May.
This year I gave some things a trim in August and a good feed and they have been great.
Also mowed the lawn yesterday, thought I had given it the final cut a couple of weeks ago!

It's not always easy to hug a hedgehog.
But that doesn't mean you shouldn't.
I've got lots still in flower, a Nasturtium has now started to flower.
Weve just not had any frost at all. :-(
I can't claim anything like that show but up here in Yorkshire my Clematis and rose bush have still got a couple of flowers
What a lovely selection of flowers you have Littleowl. I have a few tubs with blooms left, and my camellia is flowering too. Not sure it should be yet. should it?
Sarah
I've learned that I still have a lot to learn...

Sarah I thought Camellias flowered in spring!! :0)
I'm also in Somerset and enjoying this warm weather....even took the dog for his 'night time' walk last night in a pair of shorts!!....Did however get some funny looks but it was surprisingly warm once you got striding out!!!
My garden isn't looking quite as colourful as some as I wound it down in October but kicking myself now the weather is as it is! I have however still got bedding geraniums and begonias out in flower here!!
Loevely flowers, Littleowl. Up here in Yorkshire I don't have as much colour, but a few flowers are still out.

Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.
