Hi Little Owl, I will need to do a little research when the hour isn't so late but to me it looks a bit like a toad flax of some sort?
I think Higgy has got it right I think it is Purple toadflax - Linaria purpurea
Regards Mike
Pssst! Nudge nudge Wanna see some pictures Here
Higgy and Mike If this Is Purple Toadflax(the flowers are lighter In colour though) Is It a plant I should keep In my garden? :0)
Littleowl, purple toadfax can vary in colour from bright violet to pink and the good news is that it has value for bees and moths especially for hummingbird hawk moths.

I have this sown naturally in my garden and love it....more importantly the bees also love it!!
My view is leave it as it is a pretty plant and good for wildlife, If it self seeds itself somewhere you don't want it you can pull it out. I have it self sown through my herbaceous border and love it as it adds extra colour and height to the border....
Thanks for info Germain and Higgy.I will take your advise Higgy and leave It In my garden and see how It looks next year, fab photos higgy with the Bees. :0)
