I know growing a few radish isn't exactly rocket science, but the sense of acheivement from picking your own veg and eating them straight away is awesome. Lets hope my spuds turn out as well.
There are 9000 species of bird on earth. Let's keep it that way.
Goodness I have just passed a chap with a bunch in his hand and mentioned to hubby I hadn't seen radishes for years and now I see two bunches in the space of half an hour lol.
They look lovely
Sue
They look lovely and healthy. These bring back memories of my childhood when my sister and I used to pick them and dare each other to eat them. Never have grown to like them. LOL

Yum, yum - I can eat those things like sweets. Very nice they look too and I agree about the sense of achievement. Spuds whipped out of the soil, cleaned, cooked and eaten are just fab! No comparison with bought ones even if they're 'new'. Your radishes really do look good enough to eat and pulled before they get 'woody' - delicious. And what a great red they are:-)

Thanks Kezsmum. Do you grow your own veg? If so, what have you got growing. I am a bit boring and only grow the regulars, onions, lettuce, beetroot, spuds. Love to try some exotic stuff some time.
Mmmmm :)
I only grow peas LOL

Hi Tern. I grow peas too, but none of them ever reach the dining table. I just eat the from the pod as I walk round my plot. When I was young, I ate so many I was sick, but still love them
