Can anyone tell me what to do with my rhubarb plant, its in a very big tub, I bought it this time last year and it grew quiet well then the winter and the frost and snow came and I forgot to protect it and I thought blow that's it its a goner.
I would say that at around the end of Feb maybe half way through Feb things started happening and now its like this.......................................so what do I need to do now
If only I could be free as the birds the places I could visit would be out of this world
Morning Polly, to be honest it is not the most successful plant in a container but worth a try. If the pot is getting very hot it might be worth trying to shade it as hot soil will retard the growth. The other thing is that this is a young plant and they crop better as they get older. Don't compare your stick size against commercially grown rhubarb as it is a very different beast altogether. Water in the evening and maybe give a feed of liquid seaweed once a week while it is growing.

Think it would be much better in garden if possible.
