Hi just had to show you my beautiful copper beech hedge it makes for a great home for the birds and of course its beautiful color.
As you can probably see it needs a tidy up
If only I could be free as the birds the places I could visit would be out of this world
Hi Polly
Copper Beech is a lovely plant. I have always wanted one, but it grows huge as a tree and I don't need a hedge.
Best wishes Chris

Birds paradise, bet the sparrows love it

Nice Beech Hedge - birds of all species will love it a whole lot
Take it easy until the birds have had their day with the nests - tempting as it is just take it easy just in-case there is an odd fledgling around, or two
Then the tidy up will begin up with your Beech Hedge to your satisfaction

HI, that is a lovely hedge. I love copper beech too.
Chris you can get mini drooping copper beech trees. My mum has one in her lawn and it's so pretty. Will try and dig out a picture later.
I would love a nice hedge, but garden is small enough laready, don't wantn to lose any more space.

Real nice.............

That's a lovely copper beech hedge you have, the colour looks really nice against the green lawn, and it gives you something nice to look at in the winter as well. We have got mostly laurel hedges but think I will try and squeeze in some copper beech now.
What a wonderful world :))
