Thought I have a little practise at using Macro with my camera after I failed to get a decent picture of the moth thingy from my earlier post. I am not a gardener really so have mostly lawn and shrubby borders. Here a some pics of some things that are flowering at the moment.
As you can see it is easier when stuff is not moving. LOL.
I have had to include weeds to get a good range and I don't even know what the last two are, but I hop you like them and will add some of your own.

I've learned that I still have a lot to learn...

On our local reserves one flower that is showing well is the Cowslip as well as Blue and White Violets and of course the Bluebell is coming into its own right now.

Birding is for everyone no matter how good or bad we are at it,enjoy it while you can
The Bluebells are stunning this year. I suppose the warm dry weather makes a difference. Glad to say it's pouring here are the moment as everything is looking a little parched.
Polly, your flower pics are lovely. Thanks for adding them. What are the pink ones called please?

Thanks Sarah, would you believe that the pink ones are just bog standard tulips, we took pity on them when we went to the garden center they were going to be thrown out because they were past their "plant by" date we only paid 50p for 4 bags of bulbs and every one has grown and flowered, it was the man at the garden center who said they were tulips but I'm not sure that they are[quote user="bramble67"]
If only I could be free as the birds the places I could visit would be out of this world
Thanks Polly. They are very pretty
Thank you Sarah, I am pretty thrilled with it. Am waiting for the may to fully open. We have a family tradition of planting trees in memory of family and close friends and the may is my mothers tree and a very beautiful double red.
