Thought I have a little practise at using Macro with my camera after I failed to get a decent picture of the moth thingy from my earlier post. I am not a gardener really so have mostly lawn and shrubby borders. Here a some pics of some things that are flowering at the moment.
As you can see it is easier when stuff is not moving. LOL.
I have had to include weeds to get a good range and I don't even know what the last two are, but I hop you like them and will add some of your own.

I've learned that I still have a lot to learn...

I would love to give it a try. the pod looks great. I have missed seeing tadpoles and frogspawn this year. I do get the occasional frog in the garden, but not sure where nearest pond is.
This is some of my flowers.
If only I could be free as the birds the places I could visit would be out of this world
Polly, your flower pics are lovely. Thanks for adding them. What are the pink ones called please?
here are a few i'd like to share ,the rape was taken when i went out for a drive yesterday, the rhododendron, blue bells & forget-me-not's were taken(believe it or not) at the local 'woodland burial ground'. so tranquil.........

I think they are tulips Bramble67 if you look at the leaves and the 2 flowers that are still in bud on the right in the picture.

A very old Shropshire Lad.
Thanks Chris, I did think perhaps they were, but flowers looked very different.
I hope you don't mind if I put a few more photos here. I've been playing with the new camera again. I may never get a decent picture of a bird but I love it for flowers. The first 3 are of peonies taken with the old camera.

Thank you for letting me indulge :) I will try for birds soon.

Caroline, of course it's not a problem for you to add more pictures. Especially ones as beautiful of those. The new camera is performing well too.
Thanks
