Thought I have a little practise at using Macro with my camera after I failed to get a decent picture of the moth thingy from my earlier post. I am not a gardener really so have mostly lawn and shrubby borders. Here a some pics of some things that are flowering at the moment.
As you can see it is easier when stuff is not moving. LOL.
I have had to include weeds to get a good range and I don't even know what the last two are, but I hop you like them and will add some of your own.
Sarah
I've learned that I still have a lot to learn...

Yes Alan I agree.
Nick your shots are great, the light looks good in them. The sun had disappeared when I just went out to take mine but now it's back so I might try a few more. The shade encroaches very fast at this time of year though, so perhaps a cuppa and a sit in the sun instead.
Looking forward to seeing more
Just found my way to an amazing edit section in Serif Photo Plus 4
Just had to let you see the outcome
Wow that's really cool. I don't have that software but do have photoshop, but not very good with it as don't get enough time to practise. Still getting to grips with cameras too, but at least I seem to be cured of auto mode at the moment.
That is a great effect and give the flower and almost 3D effect.
Thanks for sharing it.

Feeling More Positive :-)
Fabulous photos everyone and to see all the techniques that people use with photos tools and add-ins
Kimbo: I think that is a Periwinkle, and they can grow very well once established anywhere including your garden area.

Hi Brambles, lovely thread and gorgeous photos everyone.
I dont have a garden but it was lovely to see that the bluebells have started flowering in the little wild area at work.
God made this glorious day and overarching sky for lying in the hay and watching birds go by, God made this single day for sinners everwhere, so fill your heart with abandon and drink in the golden air.
Hi Louise
Bluebells are lovely are are so rare now
Glad to hear that you have them so close to you where where you stay, and your work area
