Can you do me with another I.D. please. These flowers are in full bloom now where I live (South West Lancashire), mainly in woodland.
I am sure they are a common flower, and would love to know what they are.
There are 9000 species of bird on earth. Let's keep it that way.
Hi Budgie
Exactly, wildlfowers are not plain at all. Love to take photos of them as they are.
We all get out and about on here, and enjoy what we see what is around ant all point sof the year.
I have done so for years and still learning something new every day of my life

Hi Chris S
That photo is as good as any Orchid or 'posh' flower in my opinion.

As you are doing so well identifying wildflowers, how about this one. Again it was seen in woodland today, mainly in clumps around tree stumps.
HI

Feeling More Positive :-)
Now I believe that one is wood sorrel...the leaves certainly look right. If it is the leaves are edible & taste delicious but I seem to remember being taught that you shouldn't eat too many of them & I can't remember why now...someone will know.
Wow thanks Bella, I didn't realise they were edible. I will try some next time I am out. (I won't eat too many though??)
Yes i agree bella..the leaves 'flowers and bulbs are all edible and are also used in medicine as a natural diuretic maybe thats why you shouldn't eat too many
