Yesss we do get dry weather here in Scotland! It has been ages since we've had rain and my garden was suffering - I had to water the lawn with my watering can lol But finally we've had a down pour so everything has had a good soaking! Should help the lawn get a bit greener too! (you watch, I bet it won't stop raining now!)

Send some of your dry weather down south to Essex please, KatTai.
We spent the weekend in the garden tidying up after a cold and wet winter. The lawn was like a bog !! had to spread a load of sand and lawn dressing around to help get it back in shape.

I know....my spelling's crap !!
Or garden slopes downhill so loses water pretty quick so it soon starts to suffer when there is no rain for a few days! The bottom bit can get a bit swampy but that bit doesn't matter lol
I adore rain, how silly is that he he.
Pleased you got some Kat.We get more than our fair share here in the North East.

I'm with Sheena as we seem to have had masses of rain this winter here in Northumberland. The lawn is starting to dry out, after a couple of dry windy days, its still v soggy on the drying green where I'm hoping the raised veggie beds will go.
You are very welcome to the rain for a wee while yet, as I'm in need of sunshine to recharge batteries after the grey winter we have had!! Glad that the watering can can go back in the shed!!

Excuse wobbily dyslexic spelling!
No rain needed here in E. Sussex. Our garden is on clay and takes an age to dry out and we have had plenty of rain,
We're getting lots of rain now lol Still, the grass is just starting to grow so can't be a bad thing! Have been working all weekend so will have to have a wander around the garden today to see what is new!
Hi Kat
We've had plenty of rain here in Berkshire, but it has been nice over the weekend. :-)
We are on clay too, but I have still had to water my new trees. :-)
Best wishes Chris
