No im not talking about your Christmas list to Father Christmas- Im talking about responding to the Law Commission public consultation on the proposed reform of the laws that protect wildlife in England and Wales. The Law Commission is now considering the introduction of vicarious liability, which holds land owners and managers to account for wildlife crimes committed by their staff, as well as other improvements to some of the UK’s outdated laws.
So if you havent sent a letter of response yet please do, but time is running out the consultation closes on November 30th so your response must have been received by the Law Commission by then to be counted. For more information and points you might like to include please click here
