What could this be?

Looks like some kind of Eagle. Looks like he has some sort of crest around he's neck. Is there a bird sanctuary near by. Could of escaped

Hello Jackie, if you live outside Norwich then Pensthorpe bird sanctuary and nature park is not too far away, I believe they have a wide variety of birds and wondered if they are missing any BOP. These are their contact details.

Thanks Tony, it’s not been back but keeping an eye out. Someone suggested young Osprey. Jury is still out!

One thing it definitely isn't is an osprey. I agree with others that it looks like a released non native.

I haven't heard of them. Is it a UK society? Either way, their thought is wrong on a number of accounts. No ospreys in UK in January, youngsters look very similar to adults and these photos wouldn't pick up the differences imo, colouring is wrong, behaviour is not ospreyesque etc. Hopefully, they did say their suggestion was a guess.
