Climate change is affecting the things we love and something needs to be done to protect them. ‘For the love of…’ is a campaign by the Climate Coalition. They are trying to encourage people to learn about how climate change will affect everything from coral reefs to chocolate, and what needs to be done to protect the things we love.

On 17th June there will be a climate lobby outside the Houses of Parliament in London, to encourage the newly elected MPs to fight climate change. There will be a chance to meet some MPs so you can tell them what really matters to you and why action needs to be taken. Demonstrations such as this show people (especially the Government) that lots of people care about the same or similar things, and try to encourage them to do something about it, and the more people that are in support the better!

At this climate lobby, as well as the chance to meet some MPs, there will also be workshops, music from Stornoway and entertainment (not to mention free Ben and Jerry's icecream!). There is a rally after the lobby outside Parliament which everyone is welcome to at 4.30pm.
