This is a photo by Gavin Chambers of starlings coming into roost at Mersehead and his painstaking method to count of all the birds, producing this fantastic image of 12331 starlings, 'NEVER AGAIN' was Gavins last passing comment on it! Well we still have a murmuration of up to 20,000 starlings in the evenings, please come down to see it - a truely impressive sight.
