No time to prepare a detailed synopsis of yesterday's discouraging events, which included matings and intrusions (with support from male) but no fish, despite EJ leaving the nest and her egg for a couple of quite long periods.
This sums up most of our feelings (me having said that I was not worried):

Edit
A couple of videos added to yesterday's DU, covering EJ's long break during which the male defended, and EJ tending the nestcup followed by a quick fly-around.
IMAGICAT
She's back, bless her
13.50 EJ has returned, being careful not to stand on her egg. Looks around in an inquisitive manner. Checks the mossy clump, removes a twig from near the egg.

Who was that who flew over a couple of minutes ago, and do they have fish?
Male's gifts were (second) bark, and the green stuff. Is it a type of Sphagnum moss, or (hopefully not) fishing/mist net?
Male landed briefly. EJ calls for fish

It's been worrying me. It drapes. Looks like fabric on the way in, but not on the nest.
From your snaps, Moffer.
This one looks like t-shirt material with a big hole torn in it:
But lord know what it looks like here, it seems to be see-thru:
Still she calls :-(
That green thing - I hope it is not caught in EJ talons
On VC FB page
Go Mac I look after one of the sites where the ospreys fish, the ospreys have been struggling with the wind while fishing early in the morning, it's been in a poor direction and pretty breazy to say the least, 2 Moro the wind is to be a lot lighter so I expect to see them fish fine. You can see my reports as they happen on aviemore ospreys Facebook page every day.
EJ continues to call
Looking in on the nest to see a forlorn looking EJ calling and calling for a fish.
