Osprey at Hilton Head right now
Great news from Roudsea and Glaslyn born White YC that he is again to produce young with his lady sitting on eggs :) www.facebook.com/.../1390228594376857;theater

I checked in at Louis nest, around 11:30 it was snowing just as at Loch Garten. No Louis in sight.
And at 16:48 he was back, with a lil sunlight:
2016: first time in history an Osprey nested in the NL. 2018: 2 active nests! 2019 a storm interferes. 2020: a third active nest in a tree!
18.56 Louis is tending to his nest again, he is so busy.

Just had a hail shower, but it was sunny this morning, though a cold wind. I went to Esthwaite, and did see an osprey flying over the lake a few times, once carrying a long stick. I wonder if it was white 14, though I could not tell with just my binos and small camera.
Attached a photo from the car park of nest area at my max zoom of 20x (and size reduced) No osp in the picture though!
Edit - also had a coffee in their cafe which has new equipment in and does more snacks than before.
Thanks for your report Chrisy.
Louis was working hard on his nest yesterday when I last looked, he had some nice hay/grass and was placing it. Lets hope some female passing over decides to pair up with him.
No sign of him this morning though, snow has stopped progress.
