Tis the season to be merry . . .
Did you hear about the Primary School Nativity Play? Two children are dressed as Mary and Joseph, and they are on their way to the inn in Bethlehem.Meanwhile on the other side of the stage, a lad in a shepherd's outfit is on a mobile phone, calling to make a reservation.
Mysterious ice pancakes found floating on the River Dee in Scotland.
Back later. :-)
Farmers' Market mission accomplished - and only bought three extra things - all to give away!
Going to shorten newest smart black trousers now - didn't do them when I did my wear-at-home casuals, silly really, as I shall need them for New Year trip.
All at home this evening, and shall watch Strictly final - still hoping Frankie will win!
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Morning everyone.
Diane: Very much appreciate your offer to start the new thread; thank you - one less thing to think about. Hope you got your house cleaned and that the woodpeckers are behaving themselves. Love the frozen pancakes.
Brenda: Re horse moving, "YET" is very much in the back of my mind.
Lindybird: Cute Matthew! And blue icing to be reckoned with! What's the white stuff in the middle?
Hello all
Thank you for all your news, I will endeavour to post tomorrow!
No news yet about our Danish friend but no news is good news.
I'm sneezing for Scotland, allergy returned with a vengeance and can't think what has triggered it off:-(( New neighbour is using fire/ chimney and think she is burning all Sheana's old furniture. Smells awful but surely that can't cause sneezes?!!!
PS Chimney hasn't been used for 40 years !! OH says things will ease off, I am allergic to dust and mould so maybe both are circulating lol
HEATHER - sorry about sneezes: yes, chimneys can do that - neighbour has a wood burner and both J and I suffer when the wind is blowing our way (which it thankfully doesn't do often in the winter months when he has it on).

Simon won me over in Strictly tonight, but they still gave it to that Caroline person. Feeling sad - he and Frankie were both better than her!
Will be at home all day tomorrow, although J will go to church (Nativity) in the morning. Will finish the trousers tomorrow as I have them pinned and ready - can't sew black in evening light.
Just read the up to date news. Busy, busy, busy. Fortunately I have had a cool day, not doing much at all, bliss.
Well, Caroline Flack won Strictly, although I would have liked Simon to win as I feel he had come a long way since the beginning. It was a very close final and Caroline did get 40 for all three dances.
Well its D Day for Harriet and Ozzie. Ozzie at present sitting, then gets up, stretches, and flies off leaving the eggs unattended. In the meantime night cam comes on and I presume its Harriet back sitting. To me one of the eggs looks as though its got a crack in it but it could be a stray piece of dead grass.
Have a lovely weekend all.

Agree OG, would have loved Simon to get it. I think Craig had Caroline as his favourite!
