Birds noticed recently

I have seen two pairs of song thrushes recently in two different areas of Cramond Edinburgh, these are the first I’ve seen for such a long time maybe as far back as 4 yrs, hopefully a good sign for an increase in numbers.

How lovely Graham....I had 2 in my garden over the past couple of days...fingers crossed breeding goes well for them ;-)

Yes thank you for your reply, i can remember the days when song thrushes were an every day occurrence in the garden digging up worms etc.

Let’s hope with seeing them once more their numbers are growing.

Fingers crossed...they do get bullied a bit by the blackbirds however they still managed to be successful for the last year and I had the pleasure of having their young in the garden ;-)
