LOl, I hang this feeder about 18" from my kitchen window. The House Sparrows are getting very brave. I'm expecting to have to clean the window frequently!!!!!

I blame Hazy who started all this. Where is she btw. Mowing her 3 acres of lawn no doubt.

I thought she owned Cheshire.

Oh no, not Cyrils. I take it all back, Hazy. How's the bid for Rutland going? Alan says you are downsizing. Lol

Hey  - my ears are burning again  !      just for that you chaps are getting a container full of Cyrils each as we have 10 of them at the moment and still counting !!

Sry, I'm only just catching up again, its been full on here and a day of highs and lows - a lovely baby Robin to start the day but a trip to the vet later this afternoon to have a sick Greenfinch euthanised :(    I just sat out in the garden watching the birds afterwards so I could lighten my heavy/sad heart once I had spent well over an hour recleaning all the feeders, slates and areas where the Greenfinch might have perched or eaten.   At least poor Greenie is out of his/her suffering and the garden is protected from this dreadful Trichomonas.  I will get round to putting a mixed thread up at some stage.    

I'm in deep trouble now. Grovel, grovel.

Sorry to hear that, Hazy. Quite a traumatic day for you. I didn't mean to be so flippant. Sorry. This Trich disease is devastating.

What are you lads like ?  lol    you're all getting a crate full of Cyrils so then you won't have time for any mischief !

No worries at all TJ,  it is the light-hearted banter on here that cheers me up.   Been a tough day but the best thing has been done for the Greenfinch and also the rest of the birds.
