Well after being unemployed for the last month I've landed myself a new job! And it's about time too! Minimum wage stuff but hey, a job is a job! I was getting bored out of my skull being unemployed, I don't start until the end of the month so I guess I can enjoy this as holiday time rather than stressful trying to find a job time!
...except I've just remembered I agreed to help my parents paint their new flat DOH! lol

Hi Kat
Well done getting a job and as long as you enjoy it that is the main thing. Gives you a chance to meet new people too.
Still love to hear about your holiday arrangement for your birding holiday this year at Madieria (sp) Love to hear al about that.
Regards
Kathy and Dave

Yup, I'll still be doing the volunteering. It was one thing I checked and I was told as long as I give plenty of notice so the managress can work out the rota there should be no problems :-) I usually try to arrange my volunteering around work, though I have had to change the dates for my school visits as they were booked in for the week I'm starting my new job! But there were no problems with that - phew!
Many congratulations ! I hope that you enjoy the new job.
Congratulations and best of luck in your new job.
That's fantastic news KatTai - a great start to the new year for you. I am really pleased. Well done.
The necessity of bird-watching is a really good reason for avoiding all forms of housework.
The dust will still be there tomorrow - the birds may not be!
Thanks everyone, just glad to have a job again and know I'll be getting some money in! Can't be unemployed, need pennies. Though it is a few more hours than I was wanting it will do for the time being, anything to get a bit of a wage at the end of the month! I'll probably be sick of it after a couple of weeks, but then I hate being unemployed lol
Congratulations Kat - hope it works out for you

Hello. That's great news Kat Tai. All the best in your new job.Paul.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
Congrats! Remember, even though it may seem like a temporary minimum wage job to you, you never know what might come about as a result. Whether it be career wise or personal wise. I was doing the most boring job in the world and I hated it but I met a great friend through it.
Good luck!
