  • Who remembers George Waterston one of the great early ornithologists of the 20th and who’s idea when the first pair of Ospreys where successful at Loch Garten and had young and who then decided to let the public view the only pair of Ospreys at that time. Others did not agree.. But after that decision, membership of the RSPB took off and George Waterston was right.
