I have found 3 dead house martens under one nest over the past few days. Any ideas why? They appear to have been thrown out of the nest.
Still in use. Much quieter than the other nests but I saw a house martin pop it’s head out of the nest last night
Thanks. Strange as the dead birds would have been too big for a martin to throw out, to take over a nest. I'm back to the theory of a cat dumping the bodies, so may not have been from the nearest nest.
