As "Bad Pics 2" thread is now ten years old I thought it may be a good idea to continue it with a new part three Bad pics of fab wildlife. The previous thread link is HERE
Will kick part 3 off with three Cetti's warbler fledglings which were a little too well hidden in the bushes and one that decided he/she would break ranks and do a bottoms up !

You just gotta look really close, sounds like little piggies squealing. To me it was them laughing at me ...not amused
(Pardon the Scottish Accent)
It could have been nice!
It could. In fact it is in it's own way ...
It's a butterfly - a big rare one and I totally failed to get a single decent photo - I only saw it because it flew up to challenge a swallow!

Bloody 'ell! it must be big if it's fighting birds!! It reminds me of the only Golden Eagle I have ever seen. I got a picture which was about as big as yours, zoomed in and cropped as much as I could before it pixelated ...
It's a Swallowtail - I have no idea what it was thinking but if it continues to behave like that it won't last long -
With sunshine rarely on the forecast this year it was too good a day for the juvenile birds to take advantage of as they "sunned". Only problem is trying to get them out in the open as they are so secretive and chose to hide behind the foliage on the boardwalk at Burton Mere today !!!! Juvenile Chiffchaffs and a juvenile Wren but all you get are rubbish pics of them although they did make me laugh !!
Don't worry, this bird isn't dead, it's just spark out sunning on its side. !!!!! .... young chiffchaff !!
and do you see the thingy-me-bob that looks like a prickly conker ? .......its right in the middle, at the edge of the boardwalk .......
It's a juvenile Wren also sunning. LOL
They really don't make it easy for us do they

I know how they feel..... And I'm just a mad Englishman.... Nice photos Hazel, capturing nature, and you seem to be nicely settled with the R5.
