Further update on my bird box project. I had an inspirational idea to put ladies names on the boxes. Everyone who have seen the boxes, 20, love the idea especially the ladies who had their name, unknown to them, put on the boxes.
I have now had a sponsor approach me. Phase two will be putting some more boxes up with class names of our local infant and junior school. I am waiting for the schools answer as I think it is best to get them on board. Next stage will be to get the children visiting their box and the teacher has an ideal opportunity to get them on the "Care for the Environment" path in addition to their studies.
Good idea or not?
