Good to know that the boats will still be going out of Lindisfarne harbour, they only do pot fishing so the amount of damage they do must be minimal

Birding is for everyone no matter how good or bad we are at it,enjoy it while you can
Disappointing that the site off the Lincolnshire Coast also misses out. But the designations may only be 'paper exercises' because it is hard to see how they can be enforced. Trawlers (whether British or foreign) will still come and go, and I suspect windfarm companies will still be granted consent to lay cables.

In reply to Seaman:
Missed opportunity. Dropping areas where there is fishing/human activity means places that most need protecting are the ones that aren't. Easy to protect areas where no one has any intention of going. It achieves very little other than pretend action has been taken and stats can be used to show increasing areas that are under protection.
