Blackbirds in my Garden

  • Hi BD

Thank you for your informative answer

I have heard of photoshop before but I want something a lot more simple to use - not wanting to change my photos a whole lot just crop and change the lighting here and there. - just hate fake photos

I have come across Gimp, and to be honest and did not think much of it maybe it just me.

We have camera's here which involve both Canon, and Nikon on the same level as one another - will have a look into Pixiresizer sound good as you suggested - will let you how how I get along

    Regards

    Hi Zo

Tomorrow is another day; and I will start early to see if I can deal with photos to get them the same size - time marched on too fast tonight do not know where it went

It is better than messing up a thread that is not used by many members so I can get my photos correct.

    Hi BD

I have had a look into what you suggested here with the use of the Pixresizer.. Do you use it a lot?

It is a useful tool. I am wondering if there is a way of placing manual sizes using this software. It is hard to navigate when it changes everything that you type to do with resizing.

Any hits or tips will help no end here

  • Still trying to get my bearings at the moment with the sizing will get there in the end

Will carry on working on until everything is all the same size

  • To resize to your own chosen size, select 'Custom Size' and input the size you want the long side to be. The Maintain Aspect Ratio ticked wll keep it proportional.

There is a tutorial here on using PixResizer.

  • When I upload my photos I put 500 in both boxes, makes a good size for posting

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
