Venus also has like the moon and can be seen through a small astronomical telescope and some good binoculars as well. This shows the phases of Venus in this article. But I used to have small astronomical telescope and I saw the various phases of Venus. Mercury also has phases but Mercury is not an easy planet to observe.

Ian.
Also with a small telescope but not binoculars it is possible to see Saturns rings very clearly!
Also with most binoculars it is possible to see Jupiters 4 largest Moons. As well as any small telescope.

Mercury also has phases. But is very difficult to see. It can be seen with the naked eye. But it is always very low down. I’ve only seen Mercury on two occasions. As where I live it is nearly always got very low lying haze. And you extremely clear condition and also have a clear view of the horizon as even at its best Mercury is alway very low in the Sky. Above was one of the better times you could see Mercury in 2022.
To have any chance to be able to see Mercury you need to completely unobstructed view of the horizon and absolutely clear Sky’s!
The next full moon will be the: Snow Moon Sun 05 Feb 18:28 approx
The Snow Moon in February is aptly named after abundant snowfall. Some North American tribes called it the Hungry Moon due to the scarce food sources during mid-winter, while others named it Bear Moon to refer to when bear cubs are born. Storm Moon, Ice Moon, and Snow Moon were common Celtic and Old English names.
