After what could probably be deemed as a challenging year, not just from a Covid perspective, but the inclement weather and lack of sun that many of us have experienced, 2021 did deliver a good selection of sunrise and sunset photos, with a big thank you to all that contributed, no matter how big or small that contribution was.

I was lucky to get a sunset to end my selection for 2021 on New Years Eve, and I managed to grab a sunrise this morning to kick start this years thread.

A Bank Holiday Monday, started with quite a spectacular sunrise
Billysdad said:That's a great shot. I love the sharpness of the houses and chimneys against the sky.
Thank you.
Not quite an urban sunrise, but getting very close with the proposed new developments very close by.
Slightly wonky photo because I had to lean out of the window!
I'm enjoying the sunrises and sunsets whilst on hols....
The sun last night casting its glow over the mudflats of Afon Conwy
and setting behind Conwy Castle and Bodlondeb Wood, (or should that be Coed Bodlondeb?)
Conwy Castle
and Bodlondeb Wood
I'm going to miss these opportunities when I'm back home
This evening...
(Pardon the Scottish Accent)
At least you will remember it and you got the photos of the opportunities or rather you got those opportunities frozen in time thats the main thing.
In a way even though looking at a photo isn’t the same as actually being there in person
at least you can take the breathtaking moments or breathtaking views back with you.
Cause you got the memory’s and the photos from your journey,
In a way you havnt really truly left.
And if your lucky you might be able to go back again someday. I think the photos of the sunset you saw in Conwy are really good.
