The weather forecasters are warning of heavy rain moving into the UK tonight and tomorrow. North Wales, Northern England and the Midlands are in its path with up to 150 mm of rainfall a possibility in some areas. With already saturated catchments and melting snow the potential for flooding is high. Not what we need, as if we haven't got enough problems.
Just as a final sting in the tail the front is predicted to move north on Thursday to bump into the cold air over Scotland with potentially heavy snowfall. Have you got the shovel handy to dig yourself out Linda?
