Many of you will have seen my garden photo thread from last year: "Post Furlough Return To Work....", and to save a thread getting too long, I thought I'd set up one for 2021. I was hoping to make it a retirement thread, but alas, that was thwarted at the last minute just before Xmas, but nature and life still continues, and so shall I....
So here it is. The light has been, well, yuk for any decent photos, but to start things off, a few snow scenes from the garden from last Friday.
A generaly view of the garden.
The chimera, complete with coconut shell full of mealworms, which often provides good viewing, but not this day....
The established erysimum
Last years erysimum and lavender
Stay safe folks, there will be wildlife photos here soon, lockdown or no lockdown....

Thank you.
I think Cyril and friends would manage to make that 8ft leap with ease. Mrs PR and myself sometimes wonder if they've overdosed on steroids, the way they leap about....
Endless hours of amusement.....
i love robins said:Well captured Mike, good Action shot
Thank you ILR.
Unknown said:Won't be long before that Cyril evolves wings!
Cyril spends more time on the bird feeders than his own feeder, and may secretly have evolved wings. I'm on the look out for them, pterodacta-squirrel..... LOL
A few more, from a sunny but windy day....
Possibly one of the two crows that regularly visit our garden, trying to keep composure with the wind, which at times was gusting upto 40+mph (F8 = Fresh Gale)
which resulted in a bad-hair-day.....
and got fed up with being blown around.....
Herring Gull flying over...
My first bee photo for 2021. Though I couldn't quite see its tail, it looked like a white tailed bumblebee
Now, I wish I had recoded this pair of grey squirrels. I seriously wonder if they're strangers to the garden, they were calm, and playing nicely with each other.....
Even finding time to stop and have a peaceful and calm picnic!
Before playing nicely together, again....
And then!
Sudden stop (meerkat pose), as they heard the camera shutter click as I'd moved out a bit to get a clear piccie....
Stay safe folks, this wet and windy weather will subside, one day, and for those in England, March 29th is getting nearer.....
(Pardon the Scottish Accent)
What well behaved squiggles you have there! They are funny with their Meerkat pose. @ Linda what is happening on the 29th!? Am I missing something?
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
