Just because there's way too much great photography on this site...!
You know the feeling. You only got one or a few photos of it and they're not very good, but you can't bear to throw the photos away because they're all you have of that particular species. So you keep them, just until you get better ones :) We've managed to 'upgrade' some of the species below since these bad pics were taken, but not all...
Please join in! I can't be the only one who hordes terrible wildlife photos :)
Collared Flycatcher

No need to be shy. I love owls , I won't hurt you.
Awwwww superb photo of a fantastic bird :) thanks for posting, love Owls :)
The Little owl was my first real encounter with owls. I found him hanging upside down in a tree with fishing line wrapped round his legs. I've loved them ever since.
Aw! He's gorgeous! I think I heard an LO down our lane the other evening but I wasn't sure. It will be a first here if it turns up again.
Thanks for showing us your little chap Galatas.
There are a few Little Owls , and a Barn Owl or two , in the area I visit at weekends. Loads of Tawnies there. Some nights you hear them and it's almost as if there's one in every other tree. Hard to spot them though.
That's a slight exaggeration , I admit , but there are a lot : -)
LOL a Whirling Dervish!
Cheers, Linda.
