Just because there's way too much great photography on this site...!
You know the feeling. You only got one or a few photos of it and they're not very good, but you can't bear to throw the photos away because they're all you have of that particular species. So you keep them, just until you get better ones :) We've managed to 'upgrade' some of the species below since these bad pics were taken, but not all...
Please join in! I can't be the only one who hordes terrible wildlife photos :)
Collared Flycatcher
Otter
Peregrine
and best (worst) of all, Nightjar!

My Photos Here
Today is a good day!
Whilst photographing the Blue Tits and Long Tailed Tits in the garden this afternoon, I saw something shuffling in the shrub and dwarf Thuja conifer just two feet away from my feet; hardly daring to move, I spotted a beautiful little Goldcrest moving from leave to leaf but underneath the foliage, only catching glimpses of it as it moved around ............. as it was too close with the 300mm lens, I had to drop to 70mm focal length and these were the resulting pics ARRRRRRGHHHHHHHH !!!!! lol To be honest, even though it was so very very close it never really showed itself in full !
Honestly, there is a Goldcrest there .......... somewhere ROFL !
some lovely detail of the twigs and buds Hazy!
there was a thrush on the tray below and i thought the 2 of them together would be a nice shot, but GT took shy!
