Experience with a Buzzard

Out walking near Keswick and to our surprise we came under attack by what we now know to be a Buzzard.  Having children with us it was very frightening do you know if we have to report this to save other people?  We didn’t know what to do, we put every bit of clothing we had on and hoods up and just ran for it. It swooped several times luckily no one was injured expect the husband who twisted his ankle. Thanks

  • Agree with Alan as it sounds as if you were unknowingly too close to it's nesting area and it is was just showing natural behaviour by protecting its young;    similar explanation HERE
