I have at least two pairs of nesting robins in my garden. One males is ludicrously brave and a LOT cheeky, he’ll follow me into the house for food; including popping into the garage or my living room if I happen to leave the door open!
anyway he’s now taken to sitting outside the kitchen or lounge windows and if I’m moving around but not opening access to the pop up Robin Cafe (back door) then he will hover directly in my line of sight outside the window (both kitchen and lounge but mostly the lounge) - is this normal behaviour as I’ve never had this before and I think I’m on my 9th generation of robins at this house.
I don’t tend to put food down as I have free-ranging pet rabbits who tend to scoff anything, hence bird food in a bowl on the kitchen floor.
