I went on a Warbler Identification Course yesterday at Abbots Farm, Essex Wildlife Trust's HQ. We didn't see many warblers (heard plenty), but were all thrilled to bits to have a beautiful turtle dove sitting on a dead tree, showing off his marvellous plumage and turring at us for about 20 minutes!!

Thanks, Hazel - though I don't take any credit for spotting him - and he was so obviously showing off!!
