I don’t know how I feel about this. The majority of local people don’t support this and organisations such as the RSPB need local support. But the RSPB badly need the money. It’s an aukward situation for the RSPB.

Expect utter chaos in the summertime, and many birders will take to the hills to avoid the build up of traffic, you can walk over from the other side, but quite a hike, beautiful countryside though.

Although I have mixed views on this, I would hope most 'disappointment' that locals have is targeted at the council who, based on what's come out in the media, have been very poor at spending tax payer's money wisely, and very poor at understanding what was required of them if they wanted to fight the case.
